Great little village, about 10 hours from Austin. You can fly there fast. Great skiing for all levels. Nice little town. And there are a few resorts north of the Taos area as well. If you want to head East, Smugglers Notch. Wonderful resort in VA. Wonderful area, and the skiing is great. Travel time is a little more involved. Have a blast. Taos, NM. Great little village, about 10 hours from Austin. You can fly there fast. Great skiing for all levels. Nice little town. And there are a few resorts north of the Taos area as well.
